Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Punjab Kings are the two sides left standing, and whatever the result tonight, a brand-new champion will be crowned. Both teams have been part of the IPL since the very beginning, and after years of heartbreak and near-misses, one of them is finally set to break the jinx. 

That said, there’s a noticeable wave of support for RCB, largely driven by the presence of Virat Kohli. For them to clinch that elusive first title, key players like Kohli, Rajat Patidar, Phil Salt, and Mayank Agarwal will need to rise to the occasion. But it’s really their bowling attack that could be the difference-maker. Josh Hazlewood has been outstanding this season, and young Suyash Sharma has emerged as a real revelation.
